What God says about you matters. In fact, when you strip all the noise away, it’s knowing and believing what your Heavenly Father says about you that matters most.
Do you struggle with this and also ask, “What does God say about me??”
In fact, with regards to spiritual blessings, if you are a child of the King, He says you have received every spiritual blessing! I think it’s so important to dive into this and know for ourselves what God’s Word says so we can share with our children and others what is right and true and what matters most.

What God Says About You
So, what does God say about me today? Have you ever asked this as well?
Know that it is only His voice that you should cling to. It’s so easy for us to try to reach and cling to the words of people but what would happen if you put priority onto the living word of your Heavenly Father instead?
What would happen to your day if you blocked out the noise and only accepted and believed the truth of what the Lord says about you?
With God’s Word, we can know it’s:
- True
- Unchanging
- Forever and ever
- Faithful
- Inspired by love
- Full of Authority
- Life
Can any other words in your life consistently and without fail offer this? My prayer is that you put the utmost value on what your Heavenly Father says about you over anyone or anything else in this world!

You Say vs God Says
Sometimes when it comes to believing what God says about you, you have to turn away from what YOU say about yourself. It’s time to turn off the negative things you say and start to accept God’s word above all things.
What Does God Say About Me?
So what does God say about me? This is what God says about your worth and it’s the only thing that matters! I’ll go into each description below.
God says you are:
- Chosen
- Holy
- Loved
- Adopted
- Accepted
- Redeemed
- Forgiven
- Covered in Grace
- Secure
- Identifed
God says you are chosen.
When you say you don’t belong or matter, God says you are chosen. He says He chose you before the foundation of the world! The Creator of the universe has been thinking about you even before the beginning of creation!
What God says about you matters.
- Holy.
You are set apart. He enjoys you. His Son, Jesus Christ, makes you holy and blameless. This is not by your own account or efforts. His blood covers you and makes you holy and blameless.
What God says about you is true.

- Loved.
Some days you may just not feel loved. But, our Heavenly Father says you are always and forever loved unconditionally. There is nothing you can do that can take this away from you.
When you’re struggling to receive God’s love, praise Him. Give thanks for the sacrifice of Jesus for your life.
What God says about you is paramount.
- Adopted.
When you say you are alone or have no one, God says you are adopted into His family. You have been selected and chosen to be His son or daughter! He says you are His!
What God says about you is complete.
- Accepted.
When you say you are rejected or an outcast, your Heavenly Father says you are accepted in Christ. Fully accepted!
One thing I love about God is his totality. He never does anything partially. What is declared about you can be fully and completely accepted by him because of Christ. So even if you have broken relationships or feel rejected by others, your Heavenly Father has accepted you completely.
What God says about you is life.
- Redeemed.
When you say you are bogged down or chained to your past or sins you cannot break, God says you have been redeemed by the blood of Christ! You have been blood-bought and redeemed and given complete freedom through Jesus Christ!
What God says about you is absolute.
- Forgiven.
When you say could never be forgiven because of your sins or you “just can’t get it right”, God says you are forgiven!
On this side of heaven, we have to daily fight to seek God’s kingdom and surrender to Him. Though we teeter between this world and heaven, our forgiveness is in the Lord. We have been covered by forgiveness.
What God says about you is real.
- Grace.
When you say nothing good ever happens to you or “if only this would happen, I’ll be good”, God says he has showered you with His grace and kindness. Grace is unmerited favor. Daily, we are showered with grace upon grace.
What God says about you is everything.
- Secure.
When you say your life is out of control or your world is chaotic, God says He is in charge and in full control. He is the authority of life and sovereign over all things. Rest in this truth knowing God is in control!
What God says about you is secure.
- Identified.
When you say you don’t belong, God says He has identified you as His own. He has sealed you with the Holy Spirit. You’ve been spoken for. The gift of the Holy Spirit will transform us each day to be more like Christ when we surrender to him. You have great value in God’s eyes!
What God says about you is enough.

Believe What God Says About You
Do you believe what God says about you? It’s one thing to know God’s word, it’s quite another to believe what He says about you is true. This is why it is so important to get into the holy habit of declaring Christian affirmations over you.
When you consider the 24 hours in your day, how much is being filled by worldly noises and distractions? The scales need to be tipped so you are allowing what He says about you to be poured into you on a constant and regular basis.
The more we hear and affirm God’s word, the more we begin to believe His word. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring these truths to life in your life.
What God Says About You
Wherever you find yourself today, receive and accept what God says about you as TRUE. When you need a reminder about who you are, let God’s word be the only voice you cling to. The world is constantly vying for your ear and whispering nonsense that has zero sustenance.
What the Lord says is different. He desires to lift you up and fill you completely with His breath of life. We need to be confident Christians knowing what God says about us. We have children that need to be grounded in knowledge and understanding of God’s word.
Declare what your Heavenly Father says about you is true and share it with the world!
