Powerful I Am in Christ Affirmations

What if we fully grasped our identity in Christ and boldly lived out of who we are in Christ every single day? I put together these I Am In Christ Affirmations to remind us of our true identity as believers in Jesus Christ. When doubt seeps in or we start to question who we are, go to God’s Word and saturate your mind with what God says about you.

I hesitate sometimes to use the word “affirmation” so I want to clarify the use here is what God’s Word says we have in Christ. It’s true because of God’s Word, not because we repeat something over and over in hopes of making it true. We trust His Spirit to work through us in understanding it, applying it, and living from it.

Do you know and believe that being In Christ you are safe and secure and nothing in this world can take that away from you? John 6:37 tells us, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” That promise was spoken by Jesus, our most precious Savior and Keeper, for all that fully rely on Christ alone for their salvation.

I Am In Christ Affirmations

These I Am in Christ Affirmations came about one day after I had screwed up in a big way and a waterfall of guilt and failure began to flood my mind. My sin was magnified and I quickly found myself weighed down by my shortcomings. God’s Spirit convicts us of sin so that we confess it before the Father and rely on the finished work of Jesus. We’re not meant to live burdened by what Jesus has dealt with and have been given the precious gift of forgiveness and grace.

On this particular day, my bible reading was in Romans 5 earlier that morning and the words “God’s grace rules instead” came whispering into my heart. I went back to Romans 5 and reread verse 21: So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God’s wonderful grace rules instead.

How desperately I needed this reminder! When we are in Christ, he covers us with His righteousness giving us right standing with God! God’s Word reminded me that now, His wonderful grace rules instead! What a privilege! What a gift!

There’s an amazing song that reaffirms this incredible truth called, “His Mercy is More” with a line that says, “Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.” AMEN!

What else did God’s Word say about who I am in Christ? Below, you’ll find 20 I Am In Christ Affirmations!

We will be praying the scriptures you kindly provide ” I am in Christ Affirmation” . May God continue to bless you , your precious family and your ministry. In Christ, Silvia

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Silvia. I’m joining with you in prayer today for your son’s University and that the Lord does a mighty work throughout his campus. I’m praying that believers are bold in their faith, stand firm against anything that may deter them from honoring God, and grow in unity together. I’m praying God’s hand of protection is upon them and that His Spirit moves through them to share with others the great love we have in Christ! It’s always such a blessing to me to “meet” another sister! Erin
