What is a good bible verse for protection?
I’ve included many bible verses for protection above and I would encourage you to find one to memorize or write out to keep close by. God’s Spirit works through His Word and it can never be shaken! We can fully and completely trust God and His Word.
Allow the bible verses and prayers for protection and safety to help build your complete trust and dependence on God. We tend to put our trust in temporary and unstable things. We live in a broken, sin-filled world but as believers in Jesus Christ, we can walk, live, and dwell in the safety and protection of God!
In addition to what’s listed above, I’ve also been planted in Psalm 18, 31, and 62 lately if you’d like additional scriptures to read. Andrew Murray once noted, “We must constantly renew our faith in God.” I think especially in this time that we’re in, this is a good reminder for us.
How often do we start our day with our eyes fixed on God and then rumblings and doubts, or scary headlines, or anxiety-inducing stories creep in and we turn our head towards the fear instead of staying securely fixed on God? We must constantly renew our faith in God…and turn our hearts and minds back to Him.
