What is a gratitude challenge?

A gratitude challenge – especially a 30 Day Gratitude Challenge – sounds more intimidating than it is. A gratitude challenge is simply making a commitment to recognize specific blessings from God and give Him thanks – or gratitude for what He has done and is doing in your life.

We all could use a bit more gratefulness in life! It takes 21 days to form a habit so being diligent and committing to a gratitude challenge will help form an attitude of gratitude that you can carry well past this challenge.

Gratitude Bible Verses

The following gratitude bible verses will help set the tone for this challenge and a few verses will be used in the challenge as well.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 107:1

How do you do daily gratitude?

When it comes to practicing gratitude, the way you do it or how you do it really comes down to what you are willing to commit to. A few ideas include keeping a gratitude journal, sharing on social media each day something you are thankful for or sharing moments of gratitude in your life with a friend or spouse.

Daily gratitude can be expressed through prayer, reading scriptures on gratitude as shared above, or through a gratitude coloring journal.

All ways should turn your focus to giving God thanks for the blessings He’s bestowed upon your life.
